There are a bunch of Krayt laser rifles fir sale lately for 400k. Does anyone know how much more damage they do compared to a regular laser?

(No T21s on my server yet)

Mine is a regular laser that is dmg sliced. Has a 28% slice and a 33% powerup. So mine at max can do 683. A krayt laser can usaully do anywhere from about 30 points higher to 150 points higher. Just depends on how good a slice you get also.

So far I love my new rifle even though its not a krayt rifle. For a krayt rifle though I wouldnt take anything under 700 max dmg.

Heheh. I got a laser that tops at 705 with powerup... It's not a krayte... at least, i think it isn't. I only paied 40k for it on a slice and dice vendor. LoL

And i've yet to use it, because i've got 4 rifles that avg 650 -680 i'm burning through while i grinded to master...

I bought a regular 400+Laser rifle for 8K, and then got a 33% damage slice bringing it to 530 even. That slice cost me 3300, so total price 11,300. If I add a 33% powerup I get 705 max damage. I saw a 500+ Krayt laser for sale the other day for 500K or more (dont remember exactly). I laugh out loud when I see Krayt Lasers for sale for such prices!

Adding the name "Krayt" to something increases the price like adding the word "Sony"! (Ooops... there goes my FSCS again).

no joke. I got my brother, who plays a BH, a few sliced Scater pistols the other day, nice guns, paid about 10-15 a pop for them, and then saw one for sale, a Krayt, for 750K... I checked it's stats... Yeah they were better, but not 740kbetter...

My math works this way... if i can buy one gun for 750 k, that's great, or i can buy 75 guns almost as good for the same price... guess which will keep me fighting in the long run?

There is a reasonwhy they cost so much. It takes 4 identical tissues to make, as well as a good damage slice. If you want a cheap one, harvest a few sets of tissues, have a smith make them, and get them sliced. (very time consuming)

Ive got a krayt E11 Rifle.. 100-300 (30% dam slice- no pup) 4 speed.. nice damage and HAM costs.

BUT

Its condition goes down insanely fast - even more so if you start taking melee damage whilst wielding it - and thats without a powerup. I dont think id buy another Krayt..well not untill im stinking rich with money to burn, andhave the timeto go hunt my own tissues. You certainly dont wantto use Krayt weps as day to day hunting/grind weps.

how much damage per tick do your mindshot 1 and 2 do with a rifle like that?

Here are the stats on my Krayt Laser Rifle sliced w/ powerup. With weaker tissues.

With this I can take down nearly any target in PVP with under 4-5 shots. I generaly put out about that damage at 60 meters.
