Hypothetical situation: You're walking down a dark alley and you see an imp/reb BH. You are an imp/reb and overt, so is he. He's wearing a full suit of composit. You're dead, and you know it. The question is, what gun do you choose in order to inflict the most damage on your killer, T-21 or JIC?

The T-21 is AP. Duh. Is it broke against AR levels or just against AR0?

JIC is stun. Duh. Does the damage it does dopassing through the armor stack up against our heafty walking stick, the T-21?

Thanks.

If you know you're dead go with the T21 and mind bleeds. As far as I knowbleeds are not effected by resists so you should still hit throughthe composite.

If you believe you have a chance then go Jawa.

lol, he said 4 sec.

My T-21 is a crappy prenerf, and it's 9.8 sec. I'm not master, so I don't get the good stuff.

I kill the bounty hunter, take off my 80% resist acid helm, then have a snack *pawprint*

Btw:

Currently Jawa's are not bypassing armor correctly. I have a nice 375max Jawa.

While testing this, it does not compare to my T21.

I have been mastering Holo professions and not PvPing nearly as much so I don't know the current state of AP in PvP. Test it, if your in doubt just go with your highest list dammage rifle. That would probly be a laser. I should be back to combat effective in a week or two, then ill test it fully and post what I find if I remember =)

hmm.. i haven't had a problem taking down guys with full composite using my jawa rifle. i often get asked "What gun + shot was that?!" seems to be working fine

i've accidentally fired my poweredup T21 against composite. it does NOTHING from my limited experience in actually trying it. jawa does far more - seems to go through unhindered and hit for 300-700 strafeshot2 pvp. (sometimes higher).

most composite is totally vulnerable to stun. some have a stun layer, but that's far more rare i think.

really, slice and powerup your jawa with max dmg/mind powerup - you're good to go. Strafe2 or HS2/3, whatever.

I hate to necropost this, but it's probably better than starting up a new thread.

What are good stats for an Ion Rifle? I heard 375 max dmg mentioned; what about min and speed? What are the HAM costs on these composit busters?

P.S.

We should have a sticky thread with a listing of good (not freaky, just good) stats that people have seen on various weapons. It would be very helpful for us less-enlightened when we go to buy a gun.

I will do some guesses, I don't really feel like going in to check the totally correct stats. My jawa is about 150 min, and the max I know is 398. This is with power slice, and a power power-up. The mind cost is 45, and the speed is between 5-6 seconds. The ideal range is 40 meters. Bad accuracy around 60+, somewhat bad accuracy from 0-10. From 10-50 it should have decent accuracy, and in the 40s it is pretty good. I also have not hit for low low damage with the jawa. Usually I do about 300 damage with headshot 2, I don't have strafe shot 2. So I use flushing shot and do about 300-600 damage, sometimes a little more. I am not sure if you can have a krayt jawa ion rifle. If anyone knows please post it.

Jawa Rifle is very nice, with a 350 max Jawa I can pump out 600+ Strafe shot 2's on people wearing composite, and that is not even close to being a solid Jawa. With a little work and no kryat tissue you can get a Jawa over 400 with a power up, that is 700 top end SS2 shots.

With that said the T21 is still a solid weapon.

When it comes down to it I let the situation dictate what weapon to use in PvP, hell I will use a DLT20a if I see people running around with no armor. I dont believe one weapon is the end all weapon for Rifleman, it is the Rifleman that choose correctly in the heat of battle that will do well.

I don't go in for much PvP but I really enjoy faction/creature missions so the only weapons I use are the T21 and a Spraystick, both sliced/powered up. I make my own 33% powerups so I'll use a different powerup for each type of creature or mission lvl. As soon as my enemy rushes me I'll switch to the Spraystick until I can move away to good T21 range. Don't bother using jawa or laser rifle much, only to take out an enemy base where the speed andresonable power come inI hate waiting 4seconds *cough* between shots and the spraystick doesn't do enough damage.

Headshot 3 while prone is my favourite attack/opener, best i've had so far was 3700 damage. You can pretty much forget about armor if you can pull a good shot like that every time (wouldn't that be nice)

just wait till you're master Erazor, using SS2 with a T21 and firing every 2 seconds. Its amazing!
