Thread: How do people conceal shot high end mobs? heh

Okay, I know how to kill them and everything, I'm speed-capped and have thosesuper duper uber 700+damage T21's,but to conceal shot a krayt or an NS elder, who in the world has the patience for that? I certainly don't, by any chance, sometimes I wonder if I'm evidently slacking as a riflewoman because I don't use conceal shot against 200k or higher HAM mobs.
I heard it takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours, so I'm just wondering how people can stand it.

it depends on how much you want the loot or not....you dont make millions of credits off loot just sitting around

ive done it in 45 mins. it aint really that hard. just grab sum food. turn on the tube and just spam conceal and all that good food stuff also being a cm and using poison and disease helps a bit 2

I don't mind killing things I have to actively keep after, I actually want to do that, just sitting and shooting at something for 45 minutes doing nothing is dull.

Stocked 394 damage T21, 34% damage slice, 33.16% max damage/16% min damage powerup

You answered your own question already. We just have more patience than you. If your attention spam is that short try bringing a swordsman with you to help out and then switch to headshot. Goes by much faster.

Being able to conceal shot something is more of a gee-wiz kind of ability. While almost every rifleman has used it on a krayt and/or elder, they usually just do it once or twice to see what it's like. There are practical purposes for this ability though. I also have TK and medic so I can tank my own krayts, however, one killed me once. He was almost dead and I didn't want to lose the kill or spawn after cloning, so I finished him with conceal instead of getting rebuffed. Also, one of the quest to become jedi has you kill a jedi NPC, it is nice to conceal him if you don't want to get a group togather.

concealing elders and things of the like aren't so tedious of you're speed capped, in which i can kill an elder in 5-10 minutes, but of course, speed capping does cost a pretty penny, so you only have to hope that you can make it back up from lucky loot drops from such high-end mobs

Even if you're speed capped 5-10 minutes sounds like a big long shot. Probably upwards 20-30 minutes.

Given a 350k HAM mob with 35% Energy resists, it will take approximately 7.5 minutes to go straight through one HAM bar with Concealshot using a 35% damage sliced T-21 w/ power-up(250-720 damage). Since Concealshot is a random-HAM shot, you're looking at about 10 minutes for a NS Elder.
