Thread: Good Profession to go with Rifleman

Well, my toon is a master armorsmith and master artisan, and going up the rifleman tree, i have a second account who is going to be an artisan, so what profession should i get that would help with defense for rifleman, im looking for something with melee defense. I was thinking TKA or Fencer, what are the pros and cons for each?

That's a fine template there. I'm Master Rifle/Master Doc. But as was said, you'll need to figure out your own style. I'm a long range support player. This works out great for me.

I like
Master Rifles
Master Fencer
Pistols 0040 Adds to fencer dodge and nice defenses
Medic 2130 Able to stop bleeds and use hi potency Stim Cs.
or
Scout 1000 for better terrain negotiation and creature harvest with Medic 0000 to use stim Bs.
This template has very nice defenses along with all the benefits of rifles and fencer.
Just and idea. There are several very good templates one can make. It'll be a matter of taste and what's important to you. The main thing is do what's fun for you. Good luck.

Im master rifle master sword, some scout and 6 medic boxes. works pretty damn well against almost every mob in the game.
pvp speakingi would go master rifle master CM in a heartbeat (well until they fuk with mind attacks)
tka would be a good secondary to rifle,, but ap1 is mostly gimp against large mobs.
Doc of course is prolly the most popular second profession.

Master Rifles + Master Ranger. +10 melee AND ranged defense at Master Ranger... UBER!
OK, maybe not uber...
Master Rifleand Master Doc is great for PvE, and CM is great for PvP. Although everyone will hate you in PvP.

Master Rifle/Master Doc is still great in pvp since you can just heal the posions and diseases from CM

Don't forget about healing states (dizzy, stun, ect.). I own TKAs...............lol. TKAs can't beat what they can't dizzy......lol.

TKM or fencer is good
TKM because of meditation and powerboost (you most likely have your mind maxed out now which is good for powerboost) and nice defenses.
Fencer for even better defences and the ever acclaimed stun baton.

im a master Dr master Rifleman, it seems to work great, can buff yourself and go lay waste to most mobs. xcept for nightsister spell weavers.

Master Rifleman/Master Doctor
It makes you self sufficent with buffs, and a great counter to CMs. Doctors are welcomed in all groupd as well.

Personally I get great benefits from mixing Pistol 0/0/4/1 with master rifle. I get all those wonderful state defenses (REALLY HELPS IN PVP!) plus a KD attack that is pretty successful.
