Thread: OH MY GOD! Sennex Caves ROCK!

I've been getting tired of swordsman, so i thought i would try our ranged cousin Rifleman. I spent a day going from novice marksman to novice rifleman (1 buff session per day). then i trained up what i could in abilities with my saved up combat xp. this gave me 0003 rifleman. i went to the geo cave to try and grind, and after my buff session there i had just over 200k XP 
TODAY however, i checked the rifleman forums to see where the best xp would be and i picked up on the sennex cave.
I was able to clear over 1.2 million XP in a single buff session there, and towards the end of it, someone doing their hero quest came in and gave me the WP to the moisture farmer, which was the last quest i needed to get my hero ring.
I just wanna echo the fact that for begging XP, the sennex cave is AMAZING and i advise any rifleman to grind there on their way to master.

hey sweet, ive been looking for this place. Has anyone got an actual waypoint they can post. I really need xp fast and this sounds like the perfect place. Also, what damage to the mobs in there do? Kinetic? energy?

Yea that cave is great for getting xp and finding various loot items as well.
You can pretty much get around 150k xp or more going each way so around 300k xp just for going down and back up if you time things right and the cash isn't bad either for a buff session. I'm not sure how many people use it or even know about it on live but if its like some things not to many people go there.
But there area couple of places inside the cave where you can look down thru some areas and target and shoot at the NPC's from a different level. Which is fun as well.

What techniques do you people use? I went there and was doing well, but my mind ran out, even with brandy and canape.

oooh please a waypoint to this place would be greate for me. I'm currently at 2/0/0/4 xp and need a quick pick me up sense atm I'm between this and my tier 4 pilot missions

What techniques do you people use? I went there and was doing well, but my mind ran out, even with brandy and canape.
what kind of armor are you wearing for your mind to run out with both brandy AND canape?
my brandy is +421 for 44 mins and you can take 2, and canape is what, +400 to focus and willpower for 8 mins? (can't remember) - and i think you can take 3 canape's...2 for sure.
that's over 1200 to focus and willpower. stack that on top of minimum 500 focus built into your toon- that's 1700 -
you should be able to wear armor that will allow you to spam any special.
if you're human, you should have minimum 800 in all mind stats, as a rifleman (as anything, imo!)
only wear boots, gloves, chest, and helmet. that's all you need.
also, if you're just doing the sennex cave, all you need is Kinetic armor - so if your composite is too heavy on the mind, see if some Ubese will be lighter.it should be.
another thing you can do is get a dancer and musician buff - musician will buff your secondary mind stats - you can get both, but on a grind the musician buffs are the most useful.
lastly, you can pick up some +30% speed, 15% mind powerups. this will help you shoot faster and also reduce the mind cost per shot.

You're thinking ahrisa, not canape. Canape lasts for 5 minutes and is a huge boost to willpower, but little else. Its pretty crap, tbh, you want ahrisa. 2 Brandies, 1 ahrisa, and I can spand strafeshot2 at the speedcap for as long as the foods last. And you want to migrate stats to 1100/1100/800 in mind if you can.

Thanks for those tips. Never had a problem with mind on my Wookie Rifleman. This human is giving me some issues. I'll try the Ubese armor, thanks.

I don't know what you're talking about, the Sennex Caves suck, everyone knows Fort Tusken is where its at. Seriously.
On another note, how dumb do you have to be to advertise a spot that is usually uncrowded until of late,and basically make it miserable for those of us who enjoy our solitude. God people get dumber and dumber.
