im close to novice rifleman, no other weapon skills, also an architect/ranger. my question is how do you compete in a pvp battle? if it was a large group id stay at the back and snipe off shots but in a small group your completely useless. what are some tactics?

im shooting once than running to my death, im like a kamakzee bomber without the bomb.

First thing you need to do is get a full set of composite otherwise you will be dead in one or two shots constantly. Get some mind reducer powerups you need it aside your composite. I use 33% mind reducer 16% speed powerupswhat decrease my mind cost by 24, with maxed stats I can usually kill 2-3 rebels before I run out of mind, if I notice there is more than 2-3 rebels I use always Muon gold spice what buffs mind related stats by a lot I don't remember how much it was, anyway practically it means unlimited shots, soget some of those too,they've saved me more than once.Don't ever prone or go to kneel, pvp in SWG is fast you don't have time for that, so basically run backward and try to keep the distance at 60-65, use some stimpacks occasionally if you are going low. One more thing about pets, if the enemy has pets, you really should with those, if a pet get close to you, you will be dead sooner than you think. One hint more people tend to use burst run to get close of riflemans as they know we are weak in melee combat so be ready to use burst run as well, so you can keep the distance at 60-65 metre.

Carry a pistol for warning shot against pets. Use those specials, PvP is all about doing the fastest damage. If they're not shooting at your Mind bar then use HS3. If they have eyeshot then shooting back only hastens your death. /burstrun

I didn't know you can use warning shot at pets in pvp, can't they re-command them to attack you again? About that eyeshot, if I see that my target is BH, I use mostly muon gold, eyeshot is too powerful.

Bashin, to be honest, I don't really know what can you do, full set of composite is a life saver in pvp.

become a master doctor and Buff yourself up then eat muon gold before PvP throw on your composite armor. you are now walking death if u are also a master rifleman =P GO ME!!! =)

Get a full set of composite... get a master doctor friend who buffs you and keep healing you... Get master CH and have the biggest and meanest pet out there... then you should be able to survive five minutes against a BH. (If your lucky)

I do PVP every once in a while. Here's what I do.

Dont stay in a large group!!! Your best bet is to hide on the outskirts move around snipe kill move and repeat the last process. Since I have used this technique I am 7 kills no deaths. You must use head shot!!!! Or your dead!!!! You must be fast!!!Or your dead!!!

Remember You are a sniper!!! Act like one!!!

Lol, I disagree that. There is nothing more deadly than supporting master rifleman behind your own group. I've had a lot of fun in big groups the fun stops though as they notice you and they all sendspets to kill you.

I will agree with you on that Gurgo... Though I am not a Master yet I enjoy PvP battles in large groups. Until the pets find me then it is time to move if I am not already dead.
