Are the one shot kills even possible anymore? I havnt had a one shot kill in PvP since the 75% change came into affect. I was just wondering if it is even possible anymore. I started buying up some high powered lasers to see if maybe that will work but I am unsure how well it will work. Also if one shots are possible then which shot would you use to do it?

I think that HS3 is only 2.5x however Suprise Shot is 3.0x from what I have heard unless I am wrong.

Also if anyone knows how do you calculate PvP dmg lets say with HS3. I have asked this many times but gotten no response. From What I heard the calculation was if you were using a laser it would be:

((Dmg) * 1.25 * 1.25 * 2.5) / 4 = PvP Dmg with HS3 with a laser. Is this right???

It really depends on who your going after. A friend of mine one shotted a bunch of players with low mind.

True you just have to pick targets with low mind. If your group is attacking another group cycle through your targets and pick the lowest mind. He will never know what hit him!!

sure any bh or commando can one shot anyone holding a rifle.

+250% damage then reduce it by 75%.

Cmon sony fix the LLC and are commando weapons to ranged damage not melee....

Crapola! That means my laser that does 700dmg will only be able to top off at 438! Doh... I dont think I will be one shot killing then. I wonder why they dont have the AP bonuses in PVP yet? That would allow me to one shot kill at least.

You should take into account that AP isn't working vs unarmored targets in PvP so the damage with a laser rifle would be (damage * 2.5 (or whatever the applicable multiplier is)) / 4

It's possible for us, just not probable.

I PvP almost purely in game. Since the reduction I have gotten 1 1 shot kill.

It was useing strafe2, which is our highest dammageing attack, and it got lucky and hit the guy in the head. He was not wearing a helmet and only had a 600 mind pool.

2 shot head kills is also a bit optomistic. It usually takes me 4 hits, not including misses to kill with HS3. Also depends greatly on if thier wearing a good helm or not.

I do kill fairly often in 2-3 hits with strafe2.

Strafe 2 with a krayt laser rifle sliced for damage, dealt 980 points two nights ago. Unless you put on armor, get a doctor buff, or MAX your HAMs, that's enough to drop you.

Yes, one shots do happen, but vary rarely. Using my best dmg sliced / powered up laser rifle against unarmored players I've had 4 one shot kills (using strafeshot 2 obviously.) My personal best dmg was a 1257, and yes he droped like a rock.

Oh and don't ever use Master Headshot in PvP. You'll just kill yourself. Just spam HS2 for mind dmg.

yes one shots are possible commandos do that to us a fair amount of the time

I may not one shot but I will 2-3 shot people.

i shoot for 1300 in pvp using strafe 2 a lot..
