Thread: Best Rifle XP

Dath will get you great xp. Baz nitch and kamurith missions are great. But, if you don't have Conceal Shot or a pretty good tank, you better get with hunting groups.

Once you get Conceal Shot you can solo baz nitch missions easily. I solo them in about 20 minutes. I get about 28k rifle xp (and 2.8k combat xp) for the whole mission, plus about 11k credits. If you have a good tank you can do these missions in less than 10 minutes. But, you better have a bunch of pet stims.

With a group however, just use the bestrifle specialyou have and shoot what everyone else is attacking. Missions go faster in groups, but you'll get less xp than if you solo, plus everyone wants to camp for 10 minutes after each mission. In groups you'll probably fight touger critters (like kamuriths) so you'll get good xp, but the monetary reward will be less.

Obviously you could do all of what I said on Yavin, Endor, Lok, or Dant. I just prefer Dath. Hope this helps.

My personal favorite is hunting Pikets on Dantooine...

Like the baz nitches, you can conceal shot until you are blue in the face. I would recommend you befriend one person who's a CH, it makes levelling alot faster. In 3 or 4 hours, Ihave been able to knock out a rifleman box with the aid of a GSP screen.

If you are rebel, get some missions with troopers. Each trooper gives 3k and are pretty easy to kill with good tactics. If you are lucky enough to be Combat medic, throw those poisons for uber Combat XP. With poison, you can make over 2K Combat XP per trooper.

Don't forget, killing mobs in this game is 80% tactics, 20% gun stats.

If you can find them, Feral Banthas on Tat are great. They only have 1.5k HAM, and give over 1k exp at novice rifleman. Easy to one-shot them with headshot 2.

I agree with the choice of dantooine and pickets, but I prefer flushing shot 2 and some gsp's. You can easily take down 4-5 with only a couple shots, making misisons go much faster. Lob a few frag grenades, and you're set for combat xp as well.

I disagree....grind to Countersniping 3as quick as you can.

Then head to lok with a pet to tank. need something with decent hams. Do gurk lairs. They mass mob on the first thing to hit them. so make sure you dont start attacking until they are all on your pet. Then pop fishak and muon and spam the hell out of Flushing 2. I got 800k xp in 4 hours. Because this is a poster change AoE, it doesn"T hit the lair

sorry, i sent that to soon...you get between 15-20 per lair and they give 3.5-4.5k xp/kill. They also have herbie meat which you can harvest and sell for a decent price.

Alright, thanks for the tips guys. Also I was wondering, what is the best box to get first? I was thinking about going up the sniper tree, but I really don't know anything about riflemen, so I could use some advice. Thanks again.

The popular method seems to be....

Start out with the first box in Concealment so you can get Conceal Shot (this allows you to solo if you don't have pets). Then go up the whole Countersniping branch. Then go up the whole Sniping branch. Finally, go back and finish the last three boxes in Concealment. All the while you are working on the Rifle Special Abilities branch of course.

You might decide for yourself a better method, but this one seems to be the most common. I'm following it for the most part.

Hmmm... best way to go. I am not a master YET. I am finishing up Concealment. Conceal shot is your friend. I can solo Imp missions without a pet. I get 2 missions done in 30 minutes and make 10-11K credits and walk away with about 8K XP and 200 FP.

Other then that, I take on Ancient Grauls when I see them. I use my GSP and hit it for Mindshot 1 and 2 then Headshot 3 with my T21 then switch to my LR and finish it with HS2.

Everything is tactics and knowing your limits.

without pets best way is concealment1 then go flushing2 then sniping branch then finish box4 countersniping. then the concealment.

with pets go straight for flushing2 then sniping then countersniping4 then concealment.

i did about half the rifle tree without pets. then i took up CH cuz i wanted a mountain worrt. found i liked CH so much i decided to just master it. took me around 3 weeks to master rifle and about a week and a half to master CH.

Ok, that sounds good guys thanks! Also, I saw a list of riflemen specials, and stats of each, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?
