Just wondering. I haven't seen or heard of any yet, and when I asked one of the weaponsmiths, they said that the resources required haven't appeared on the server for three weeks at least. If anyone knows of T-21's on Tarquinas, I'd love to know where (i.e. which weaponsmith has them available).

As far as I know, and I have been harrassing many a Master Weaponsmith, there are none except a few MOB drops. We have yet to have the resource needed to make them. I think it is the Dev's way of controlling the weapon population.

Yeah, I've also been harassing every weaponsmith I find. I hope I'm not making it so they won't want to sell me one when they do make them (lol). Oh well, I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed. Thanks though.

Oh, and I had no idea that MOB's dropped T-21's...that sounds great! Any idea on which types of MOB's drop them? That'd be good to know. Thanks.

Heres what you do, if you have tons of cash you can do this. Ask them what resource there missins, nd every once in a while you go to each planet and open up your mineral survey tool. Look under the tool for the missing resource. If its there tell him or go out and find it. Going to ever planet costs alot, so if you dont have alot of cash dont do it.

Yeah, I've asked about the resources. I even said I'd go get the necessary resources if they'd tell me what they were. But I don't know if they've decided that it's a trade secret, or they were busy answering other people's /tells or they my breath stinks or what, but I couldn't get an answer from any of the weaponsmiths about it. Geesh....

I'm trying every angle I can think of. Oh wait, hold on, just thought of something else...heh.

Gonna go to Weaponsmith forum and ask there. Maybe a weaponsmith from another galaxy can tell me what's necessary and I'll go get it myself. The travel expenses are not a problem right now.

Well, being a Novice Weaponsmith and an Apprentice Sharpshooter I know that not just any resource will do when making weapons. Getting the resources that have high stats in the right categoriesfor each componentis a bit of a pain but makes a HUGE difference on the outcome of the weapon. I only have one experiment point for weapons, but the stuff I make is far better than most of the crap I see posted in the bazaar--just because I try and use the best resources. (It sells pretty fast, too.)

Now I'm not sure what goes into the T-21, but I've been on Correllia on Tarquinas since a couple of days after the launch. The only resource I have had a tough time finding is Reactive Gas. It hasn't been there for a couple of weeks, and I'm just too lazy to pack up and go somewhere else to find it. But believe me, if I could make the T-21 and needed a resource and you offered to go find it, I'd pay you bucoo bucks--or at least give you the weapon for free. Now maybe some of these guys are afraid that you might get some poor quality stuff, but I would at least tell you what to look for.

As far as the /tell-ing goes, /tell away. I'm happy to get these questions and often do what I can to meet their needs right then. Unfortunately, I'm only a couple of levels up the Firearms tree and can't make the really good stuff. But someday...

I really appreciate this information a lot. At least now I have an idea of what to go searching for.

The only remaining question I have is:

How do people (weaponsmiths in-game, correspondents like Aldeon here, etc) know what resources have/have not spawned on the servers yet? I can understand them knowing whatever they survey for themselves, or whatever a surveyor tells them they've seen/haven't seen, but is there a list somewhere else too?

Just wondering.

Now I see why the T-21 is such a pain in the ass to make.On Correllia(Tarquinas), from what I recall, I've seen all these resources except Alantium Carbonate Ore andGallinorian Rainbow Gem C.G. These are really specific types of resources--unlike any recipe I've seen so far.

The only way I know to check and see whatresources are on a planet is to use a surveying device for that type of resource. It will list all resources (of that type) that currently exist on that planet. At least every two or three days I've noticed somenew resources show up and some go away. So it could get real expensive hopping around the galaxy looking for some of this stuff every couple of days. I'm sureWeaponsmiths are just going to wait around and see when this stuff shows up on their planet. When I does, you'll probably see a forest of harvesters spring up out of nowhere.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying, but it seems that they all say "that resource hasn't spawned on Tarquinas server in the last three weeks," or something to that effect. Unless they are just doing what you said and hopping from planet to planet every day or so just to check, how would they know that it hasn't spawned on the entire server unless there's some list somewhere of what's available server-wide? That's what I meant.

Either way, it seems like it's going to be a hard time getting a T-21 made on Tarquinas anytime soon. But, at least I get to read about other guys killing things with theirs on the other servers, huh?
