Human - Nice Mind stats, 1100, 1100, 800 are the max it can be set to
Zabrak - Not sure on mind stats, equalibrim (I consiter this one of the best ablitys in the game), some state defenses.
Ithorian or Mon Cal - Higher Primary Mind stats, lower secondary, but with enough brandy and arihisa, that can be fixed
Wookiee - Great Stats, Wookiee Roar is a area intimidate if I remember corectlly, some nice armor with low encumberance ( I think the stuff is lower encumb than composite )


Not sure on the other species, but theses would be the races I would choose

right now it is human. but i wouldnt bet a bent cred chip on humans retaining the ability to migrate any stat to 1100 in the combat revamp

the main pool isnt the current limiting factor its the secondary pools. focus being the slightly more important than willpower.

but i wouldnt pick a race based on this. the combat revamp is going to make this sort of thing go by-by. pick thespecies you WANT to be not what your current skillset comes up "best". i like being human and picked that cuz its what i like not because its good for rifles.

there are tons of people that picked races they didnt really want but did so because thier "golden template" dictated taht zabrak or wook was a better choice. then they went jedi or some other skillset and now are upset because they arent thespecies they wanted to be.

my best advice pick what you want to be not what some goober with a skill calculator tells you you should be

I can certainly tell you what the worst is: Trandoshan. M/F/W is limited to 1000/500/600, and since you can't wear boots or gloves you have to wear pants (to replace boots) and bracers (to replace gloves). Since you have to wear two bracers instead of one pair of gloves, it's that much more mind encumbrance. That plus limited mind equals trandos suck as rifleman. I go through ahrisa like crazy - even with mind buffs I have to drink two brandies and eat an ahrisa to get focus over 1500 so that specials don't cost any mind.

Wookiee is the best race for everything *

I haven't tried an Ithorian. Don't Mon Cal's have high limits on the blue pools?

* Except dancing. There's something disturbing about a sasquatch doing hip thrusts.

My Mon Cal does awesome. hahaha and you thought us Mon Cals were peaceful.
