Thread: Some ranger questions from a noob

Hello all thanx for takng the time to read this. Im not doing Ranger for any type of Holocron etc... Im at the point in the game where Ive mastered most of what I want to do. My first question is Ranger combos, Im currently Master Ch, Master TKA with some medic. Ill have to drop Ch or TKA, any suggestions on wich one? I was thinking Ch personally. Second, the obvious, whats the best way for me to grind Ranger With TKA? Is this a good combo? Do you think it will be just as effective as my CH and TKA is? any help is appreciated.

I agree with you.
Dump CH, as critters like to munch on Rangers and will avoid pets to do so. TK is fine, it kills critters as well as the other combat professions.
The only drawbacks are no bonuses to hit (ranged only) and you got to be in the critters face to hurt him - so keep any medical skills you have.
NRass is Ranger/TK I do believe, and is still kicking around. It's effective, bloody but effective. As for me, a Republic blaster and a Pdart and I am in harvest heaven.

Ive been both Master Pistoleer and TKM and I really enjoy them both combined with ranger. As JB said, there are bonuses to hit with ranged weapons, which are really nice...but being in your face and personal with TKA is good too.
Right now, I tend to hunt with a ranger/ master rifleman partner, while im ranger/ tkm...this is the perfect combo...he rarely gets hit, and i can knock them down.
the only thing in our wake are corpses of our kills.
in conclusion, drop CH...it wont do you much good unless you always hunt in groups.
and welcome to the best forums in swg

Drop the CH, and stay with TK. As Master Ranger/Rifleman I like to hunt with Guildmate who is Ranger/TK. I agree with the above comments. TK is the better choice.
