"but enough days have passed where I log on and feel useless so its time to move on."

Aye. Sounds like thatwould be best... No reason to keep skills that don't increase your enjoyment of the game. Perhaps in the future, the skill set will better suit your play style.

Until then... Good Hunting.

/nod.. I hope that they devs really look closely at your outline of the Outdoorsman, I really appreciate the effort you are putting in to make this profession's issues noticeable in a well thought out way. Hopefully I will be back to these skill waters soon when there is a revamp.

Once again, it is my duty -

Can I have your stuff?

JB

(read the rules, someone has to ask for your stuff when you say you are leaving a profession or the game. I could use mod'd clothes, mine got broken)

JB, broken clothes still work, IIRC. Can I have his stuff instead? I probably need it more than you

"broken clothes still work"

Careful though... The developers do intend to fix 0/0 clothing eventually.

Though that means you probably have at leastsix months before they do though.

Yeah, but by then they mightmanage to unbork the profession enough so I won't care about the clothes.

... Much.

And maybe by then my bank account will have caught up with inflation enough to buy BE clothes on my own!

lol, yes I know the rules! hehe.. but then again, you dont even know which server I am (different then yours) and if I had any Ranger mod clothing (WOO camo? Even I sell these when I get them), but I will keep scout for my CH which retains my scent neutralization. But besides that, is there any Ranger gear that I have been missing out there??

Hey I was following a thread here and some people were confused on who exactly gets the milking ability. I posted a message on the Test Center and the responses have essentially said that a Scout with 2000 will be able to Milk the same amount of resources as a Master Ranger..

Unfortunately this is probably the last straw for me, the 140 skill points that Ranger 'eats up' for essentially /areatrack really just doesnt add up anymore.. I enjoyed being a Master Ranger cause it was a little bit different, but enough days have passed where I log on and feel useless so its time to move on. I hope that the devs help this profession out, cause it has alot of potential but apparently little or no dev consideration. Good luck to you all.

As soon as I master Ranger I'm going 0040. This way I can track and harvest and I don't have to put up with the broken aspects. Wayfaring = useless. High quality camps = Useful, but not worth 14 skill points (maybe worth 9). Traps and Rescue = Useless. Who thought an area effect trap was a good idea? Why would a master of concealment throw a trap to tick off an entire group of mobs????
