I'm sure this has been talked about before so I thought I would ask about it.

The demand for meat and hides is so great that I'm seeing prices go through the roof for large quanities of resources.

As a Hunt Master, I cannot keep up with demand. Hunting in groups is less productive than solo so I find myself alone all the time grinding and grinding for meat and I still can't keep up. I've been hunting the same creature now for 2 weeks...it's burning me out.

It would be great if they could either up the amount you can take while grouped (easiest solution) or make some sort of trap that could act as a harvestor.

I haven't a clue how this trap would work. Maybe find a spot that has "fat and healthy" creatures with the resource you need and place your traps there for best results.

So tell the people to chill, you are going to do stuff you want to do. Nowhere is it written you "must" harvest. I go weeks between contracts, go do something else and have fun. The people screaming for meat will get over it. And while you are at it, raise your prices 100% they want the stuff that bad.

As to the harvestor traps, we pretty much said No. Intrudes too much on the artisans who will start screaming.

Now, grouped you get more harvest, just less per person, but on the whole, more. Trick is to have 3 people. example - Master Ranger gets 100 units alone. Master Scout gets 75 alone. Scout gets 50 alone. (I made the numbers up, chill, not accurate)

So alone the best you can get is 100. Grouped you get 60% of 225. That's 141 more or less, an increase of 41 units. Now y'all have to be working together. Missions don't take as long (I say missions, guaranteed harvest) and there are 3 weapons rather than 1 firing. You may even be able to get higher missions than normal, and these usually give a better harvest.

Try a 3 or more person group and see if you don't get more.

Yep,

with the 60% harvest penalty for groups, with 2 master rangers hunting together, you get 120% of the harvest.

get yourself a business partner and share the wealth with your partner.
