I guess the title says it all. Was wondering if our only really useful trap has lost its usefulness?

I was using them on Dath last night to grind up Advanced Traps 4. So I can at least report that trapping XP still works.
As for the P-darts themselves, they seem to still work. It was uneven. There were moments when the bolmas were most definitely snared. I'm not sure whether damage now breaks the snare, or there's a limit on chained snares, due to the new snare rules. I hope more people test and report here.
One big change from before is that attacking prone from a distance while camoflauged no longer buys you free time before you're detected. That might have been a pre-24 change, but it has taken much of the love out from camo. On the other hand conceal shot is now relatively more useful.

They've aggroed on the first shot since the CU.
I didn't try anything hgh end last night, but I was still able to stack a Phecnacine Dart with a Crippling shot snare. Which of course is exactly the opposite of what the snare changes were supposed to do.

P-Darts and Crippling shot still stack. This used to stop the creature completely before Publish 24.
Now they're still moving, but a lot slower than if only cripple shot had been used.

They always aggroed on the first shot, but if you were camoflauged, prone, and 60+ meters away you still got a few free attacks before they figured out where you were and charged or returned fire. It remained that way for at least a couple months after the CU, I depended on it extensively.
But admittedly I never figured out exactly which combo of those three was doing it. Still, doing all three didn't get me any free shots against malklocs and bolmas.
EDIT: Forgot to specify that I'm talking post-CU.
