i thought pub 24 would bring the ranger revamp

LOL! Welcome to the real Ranger. We thought we'd have our revamp before the Junk dealers did, or before 2 droid engineer revamps, or 2 jedi publishes or 3 expansions.

Don't expect to see our publish on Test Center even before January.

well, they say you'll be ratting on smugglers, so expect it to coincide with their revamp.

if its not coming out till january, why did they already list what they are going to do with the proffesion?

They probably wanted our feedback, but we already know what they do with our feedback, they give it to all the other professions while telling us it's impossible.

um...the pre-pub 24 notes had nothing to do with Ranger...so expecting them then was kinda odd. But the Ranger revamp will come 2 weeks after people stop asking when it's going to come.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Didn't we already have this conversation...?

Folks, the revamp stuff is In-Development. It's still kind of mutating. Already we've managed to keep the battle-armor certs and get the new traps to work on creatures as well as humanoids, and the pre-reqs are still up in the air as opposed to being dead-certain carbines. Until the devs start putting things in stone, we're not going to see an ETA. And if past history is any indication, the only warning we'll get is when we see it show up on TC notes.

The Trials of Obi are coming soon, and it's a safe bet that the bugs in that will occupy developer attention for a while. January is a good guesstimate, but that's all it is-a guess. And even though things are looking up for us, Lucy can still pull that football away at any time.

Right.

There is no official timeline or prediction as to when the revamp will hit TC or Live.

rest assured, i am keeping my eyes peeled for any information.
