Ranger Archive

Looking through the forums and seeing all the crying all the calls for nerfs and all the hassles, man and people thought real life stuff was bad.

Sure there are bugs in this game underpowered professions and generally stuff that pisses people of. But it is a GAME and a MMORPG at that, it is meant to change and evolve FOTM come in FOTM go out the economy rises and falls much like real life, new technology comes out and makes old technology obsolete, damm this happens all the time in RL and isn’t that what this game is meant to emulate LIVING in the Star wars Galaxy.

Most recently all the bad comments and review of Mustafar , I went there last night and damm I had fun, there were new things to see, new quests to do and new creatures to kill, what more could a Ranger want….(apart from wearing a nice hat while burning a pair of the unnameable garment).

To be honest I just feel a little disheartened by all the crap that is going on people have lost the idea of having FUN.

So I vote

BRING BACK THE FUN !!!!

So I will ask the following of all Rangers to start the idea of bring back the fun (not that it ever left the majority or Rangers ) post a positive part of the Game somewhereyou have hadFun. Or somethingyou like to do in the SWG world.

i say bring back the "y" and "o" in "you". Seriously, while I like the general message of what you're saying-- 1) you're preaching to the choir. Most Rangers enjoy the game despite the bugs and do their best to have fun-- otherwise they wouldn't be Rangers. But we can't "make" other people have fun2) Spell "you" properly. While I obviously understand what you're saying, the contraction is not neccesary and just makes me not want to read your post. It's a whole 2 letters. Use 'em.

And i know im preaching to the choir maybe i would just like to hear what entertains the other Rangers in the game.

Fun for me are those unscripted off the cuff Roleplaying moments with someone else who's willing to give a little for the RP. Seeing someone running around town barefooted, and stubbing a toe on a rock and hop around is cute, and one of those little things that people don't think about when they aren't actually there. That's fun.

People are so into the grind and finishing this or that, that they forget to enjoy the trip to get there.

The forums will always have morewhining than praise because players who enjoy the game and have fun usually don'tstart threadsabout how fun they have, its rather the people who don't have fun or have something to whine about that log on the forums and start threads.

After two years of being a crafter pretty much confined to my home, I enjoy questing my green camo pants off now. I've been doing all possible quests I can get my hands on from all planets. Tis quite interesting.
