I'm back from over a year's hiatus from SWG. Master Ranger / Master Rifleman - somethings just don't change. Realizing that I know little of the changes that may have taken place to the Ranger profession. Can point me to a site/post that highlights chronological updates to the Ranger professions since this time last year?
Thanks for your time!

Welcome back.
There have been no actual ranger changes since you left. My apologies.

Welcome back and the ranger population has decreased dramtically since the game started. I'm thinking that there is no point in the ranger profession if the DEV's (if you want to call them) doesn't fix all the bugs on the ranger like the admeshive mesh trap and doesn't help the ranger population out. For instance giving them more skills and more traps to use.

well - they did increase our harvesting rate at master to 150 and they added harvest bonuses for grouping:
(I think these numbers are right - someone correct me if I'm wrong)
The other members of the group get a bonus based on your level. That is, if you're not a master they will get a 30% bonus, but if you're a master they will get a 40% bonus.
This was a pretty significant change, as it allowed us to group again. Of course, this change combined with the new post-cu harvest rates for level 75+ critters (any creature - yes, even a gnort - of this level will drop 500+ units of hide for a master ranger) has pretty much killed the resource market. 25 cpu is pretty much the best you can expect from any creature resource that can be obtained from any creature that can be hunted via the mission terminals. Good for the crafters I guess....
One other change that we got with the CU is that the new CU creature-level system made it possible to land traps on high-level creatures (such as Ancient Krayts) at master ranger. I'm not sure it was advertised as a fix or a change per se, but it has breathed some new life into our trapping line. Even after the fix for the notorious p-dart-shutting-down-mob-ai issue (search forum for details), some of our traps (well, the scout traps) still seem semi-useful now.
Oh, and we got a kashyyk camo kit, but no one is really sure whether it's working or not :
p.s. - welcome back :>

- if you're grouped with other players, but none are rangers you get a 20% bonus
- if you're grouped with other players, and one is a non-master ranger, you get a 30% bonus

Welcome back.
I think Iseult covered the major changes. The only thing I can think of immediately is that camo kits can now be used by anyone (just double click on them in the inventory) instead of requiring /conceal to use.

Great responses. Thanks crew.
Well, apparently I'm entitled to a respec. I have yet to try any other profession. Perhaps it is time.
Master Rifleman / Master ???. TBD, I guess.
