On TC there's a publish update for what's looking like it's going to be #21, and Rangers got a pair of bullet points, shared with scouts. Does that count?

Profession: Scouts and Rangers

  • Grey-con (considered) mobs will no longer break scentMask or camo kits.
  • Lower-level creatures that break scent-mask or camo kits, will only attack from the same distance as they would have had the player not been concealed (rather than attacking immediately).


    I think I need to sit down for a few minutes here.

    They have fixed camo causing agro as it buggers up the other professions who buy camo and use it, not because it buggers rangers up.

    Well I guess they do realize that we rangers are here. Even though they did very little improvements on us we still need more improvements.

    When is the last time any publish really fixed anything significantlyfor Ranger anyway, because I sure haven't seen one the couple months I've been playing ranger.

    They only fix what is easy. Not what would take a few minutes of thought.


    Pretty much, I will bet the "fix" is coding that makes grey cons ignore us totally unless we initiate combat. Of course, this applies to everyone, not just us. Think about it.

    I went over to their forum to see the reaction (very briefly!) and saw this

    Well the Devs said that they would be doing revemps on small parts from now on. Maybe; i'm being optimistic here; this is our camo revamp. Instead of it working and being bad at what it does, theyare revamping it into working the way it was pre-cu.........
