Thread: Can Rangers make traps via a factory?
yes, you need to make the schematic and load it in. Saves a LOT of time
don't make the broken traps... i made 999 of the adhesive mesh and they dont adhere anything

as above but if we can then how is it done? after finally making it through the trapping branch I realised I waste a lot of time making traps..... thanks for your time all

yes, you can make traps in a factory.
ok cool thanks team, but how do i make the schem, I need to stand next to a crafting station or something?
You need to be standing near a weapon/droid/general item station to make the schematic, and the factory you want is an equipment factory.
1. You need an actual weapon, droid, equipment crafting tool (not a generic crafting tool)
2. You need to stand next to a weapon, droid, equipment crafting statio to make a schematic n (note, our HTFB's have one of these, so in a pinch you can throw up a HTFB and make your schematic)
3. You need to buy an equipment factory and get enough Credits and Power to keep it running.
4. You should harvest ALOT of the same kind of resource so you can make substantial factory runs.
5. Remember that statistics matter not when making traps. So don't worry about Overall quality, Maleability, etc etc. This is true for hide, bone, meat, metal, polymer.
6. Make schematic, insert to schematic slot, insert ingredients into Ingredient Hopper and select start manufacturing.
7. As far as I know, Experimentation with Traps does nothing. Maybe someone could comment on this if thats not the case.
SWEET! Thanks for the detail Just one question left then. What is an HTFB?

errr, ahhh, ROAR
One more note:
When I said ALOT of the same kind of resource, I mean this:
Example. Bristley Hide from Tattoine Only (not Bristley Hide from Tattoine, Dantoine, Endor). A Specific Resource from a Specific Planet. Furthermore, you would want Bristley Hide from Specific Planet during a specified resource phase (time period of the game). If the resource qualitieschange on that planet for a specific type (hide/bone/etc), then you have two distinctly different resources even though they would both be for example Bristley Hide from Tantooine.
Therefore, when you make your schematic, you need to make sure you note exactly which resources you used to make the schematic. Those are the only ones that will work to make the items in the factory.
When I was ranger I did not know about this so thanks for the help as well. I might be Ranger again so this is why I'm looking on the forums alot
