Well except for maskscent and camoflouge.

Why cant they manipulate existing spawns, ie, maybe luring one away from the group, or slightly controlling one spawn to help fight off a stalking creature or something like that.

If BE's can completely reproduce a creature, why cant rangers mess with pheromones or something to get a little help here or there?

any trap that isn't AoE will single pull a target away from it's mates, as long as you turn your auto-attack off. Just wait for it to be 15m from it's companions, and you can go one on one.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Our traps can already do this to some extent (it was mentioned not so long ago in this thread). I like the idea of Rangers being able to control the hate system for mobs but if we were given this power it would take us another step towards the creature-centric role and even further away from possible roles in the GCW.

Well you just harvest them when they're dead you can use traps, etc on them when they are alive. It's also good to have a ranged profession with Ranger or I think it's good too.
