Thread: Can't justify staying with galaxies anymore

I have always been a supporter of Galaxies, been to (and loved) fanfest, etc...I'll be really surprised if this doesn't get deleted but I just cant stay in game anymore. I am so tired of testing a game for 2 years. I just want to play something that works as intended instead of this Russian ruelette style guessing game with every new publish. They will never have a game that feels solid until they stop adding problems <broken content> and just fix everything.I dont know of many who would complain if known bugs <not issues> were the priority over content for a short while to polish the game a bit. As I have one character that is paid for a year in advance I guess I will load everything on him and cancel my other 2 accounts. If i find out that I will be compensated for the year payment cancelled earlyI highly doubt I will keep any characters.I wouldn't throw a broken frisbee, ride a bike with a broken chain, or type on a broken keyboard missing just a few letters, and i will not pay to play a broken computer game any longer. When I am online with Buddy , Jaxus or Fezig over the next 30 days you can be sure I will be consolidating to one character in case Galaxies ever comes out of Beta testing. With a tear and a wave.........

Hope you can find ranger heaven elsewhere. Try Dark and Light when it comes out, ill be there too and the way they are implementing rangers seems truly amazing. Plus who can argue with a playable area amost 20times bigger than all the galaxies planets combined together and a single city kingdom bigger than all of everquest plus all the expansions put together?

Ah jaxus! not you. things are really getting heated up with the Rangers on Naritus. Sorry to see you go. hopefully after a short break you feel compelled to hop back on with Jaxus and come hunting. You will be missed by all.

GL Jaxus.... I myself had my exit post about beta testing a game and never wanting to play again. I completely understand what you mean. I decided to stay since I had put so much time into my character and just cancelling feels like killing him. Only a mere handful of my guildmates still play yet I continue. I'm waiting on the next thing to WoW me... might be installing a demo of something that might WoW me right now.... /wink

My Master Ranger on Ahazi, Ditah Cotton has been inactive for almost a month. I can't really justify staying anymore either. I do miss the friends I've made in SWG, yet some have migrated to WoW. I enjoy playing a gun-totin dwarven hunter there, as well as a ranger in Guild Wars.
Perhaps one day my ranger will make a come-back to SWG, but not for a while yet.
