Thread: Ranger Correspondent?
do we have one yet? is this person working with devs? are they taking suggestion from others? personally i'd like to be able to talk with this person, or at least have them respond to threads where we make suggestions. this forum is FULL of suggestions, and not enough talk about the actual profession. why? because so much isnt working right.
i really want to play my ranger, but with all thats broken, im thinking of giving it up and taking on BH. i already have the two masters needed.
The correspondent would be me. I just found out last night. The correspondent position is responsible for going through the boards and gleaning the top 5 issues for the profession, as well as providing links to threads with good information about the profession to the development team.
I'm aware there are tons of good suggestions out here, and that a lot of people are saying very similar things, and having similar ideas about correcting the issues. That's good, makes my job easier.
I have not sent in my first report yet, as I said before, I just found out I was selected last night. I will be spending time each day reading the boards and gathering information, and will submit a report this week.
As for your other question, have I been in contact with them, well, I have started building a repetoire with Q3PO about Ranger issues, but he is not who I am reporting to. As he has already forwarded on some of my comments to the designers, hopefully the are at least passing familiar with me already.
Are you going to post and introduction or will the devs do that?

Hey Mineras. Wanted to say hi. I am the Droid Engineer Correspondent. I recieved my email as well . Was told I would have an official title yesterday but I guess they are a bit busy.
Anyway we have our work cut out for us. Especially me. I jumped the gun and asked my guys to start listing their personal top 5 issues and teh flames have already begun. Lol.

I hope everyone can hold off spamming you with their "perfect ranger fixes" because there are alot of good ideas already floating around on the boards. This class needs alot of work but I see very good things to come. I am not quite a ranger yet, should be in a day or so, and I am really looking forward to the chance to help this profession.

When I was playing DAoC the correspondants would post their community reports on the relevant boards to let people know what they were proposing to be changed, any chance you could do something like that here to keep us in the know?
