Im planning on a carbineer/ranger combo. Mastering both of those professions plus scout leaves me 18 skill points. I can either go up to Ranged Weapon Support IV or get Novice Artisan and Survey 1. I have Ranged Weapon Support 3 now and I find little use for Warning Shot(the delay just seems to long for me, maybe I just dont know how to use it) so right now the only good thing i can see from Ranged Weapon Support is the +4 to Melee and Ranged Defense. With Novice Artisan and Survey I could get my own resources needed for camps and traps without having to buy them, and with high mask scent ability I could potentially go out into the really dangerous areas to get the rare resources to sale later.

So my question(finally right? ) is which of these do you think would be more useful to me in the long run?

Funny I use warning shot as one of my top three moves, I'm pistoleer and basically my attack looks like this.

/heathshot2

/bodyshot2

/bodyshot2

/warningshot

/bodyshot2

/bodyshot2

/bodyshot2

/warningshot

you get the idea, basically this ideally creates a situation where an enemy is running back and forth rarely getting close enough to actually attack you.

Yep. Warning shot is an essential skill for all ranged combatants. Whether you solo or group, you will certainly find this skill to be useful.
