Thread: Macros for looting?
Is there a macro for getting hide, bone, meat and or looting from a dead animal?
I can get one but I use the radial menu.
Thanks
- /harvest meat
- /harvest bone
- /harvest hide
- /loot all
You can only do one of the /harvest commands on a single corpse.
Make sure you don't use the /harvest macro on a corpse that doesn't have that resource... Otherwise you will lose your chance to harvest anything. ![]()
You can write a macro: /loot all; /harvest hide to perform the looting and harvesting in the same hotkey. ![]()
THANKS RNass that was very helpful and nice of you to respond.
i ended up creating one based on my priorities at the time - and just edit it as needed
currently it looks like this:
"/loot all;/loot bone;/loot hide;/loot meat;"
then i map it to control+space
this one is flexible so that if the creature like a spider has no bones - i at least get it in the same instruction none the less - if it has all three - well currently i need bone - so i'll end up looting that then failing on the other 2 - no biggie ![]()
simplifies it a lot... and to my suprise - some mobs are actually lootable... I ended up getting more rare drops with this macro... I never used to use the loot on a creature - but after the macro, i'm getting components from a brackaset, well maybe it's time to consider actual drops ![]()
"/loot all;/loot bone;/loot hide;/loot meat;"
Interesting... This actually works?
I thought harvesting required the use of /harvest? I've never tried /loot hide before. ![]()
