We are going to remove the Trapping, Hunting, and Survival Scout lines from the Bounty Hunter prerequisites.
So does this mean we can finally go for humaniod trapping seeing as Bounty Hunters no longer have to have the prerequesite.

No. It separates out the fact thatScouts and Rangersare the trappers/hunters of animals and the Bounty Hunters are thehunters of humanoids.

Heh, boy oh boy... looks like somebody slapped the hell out of that hornets called the BH forum. All skivvies in a pinch.
They have to cater to the BH's more since they are the natural rival of jedi. Jedi can spank all BH's now so they are really Pi$$ed. So, take away some of the prerequisites to be BH and they still arent happy. Master Pistoleer, Master BH, and novice medic... still not happy tho... lol.
Oh well... Poor devs.. got their work cut out for them. lol

Finally we get rid of moron BHs - not all, just the vast majority are morons - asking for macros and asking stupid questions.
As most BHs are the Duke Nuke'em types, we won't be seeing them for months. All I can say is bye.
As the tears run down my face, it's from laughter, knowing that they got what they wanted, and so did we.

LOL no love lost there then?
I know what you mean though, i think it all stemmed from when eyeshot ruled the earth. Alot of powergamers got stuck there and didnt want to surrender their uberness, now they want it back and piss off every other player to get what they want.

Jeez...
Master BH/ Master Pistoleer.
Im happy as hell that BH's are now only distant cousins by marriage (thrice removed) and not the brothers and sisters of Rangers.
BH's have been harping on that since... well, day 1, they got it and the ones that are happy are getting one starred. lol
True, they do need hotfixes and attention, but BH's really have it made now. wow... I cant imagine a MBH/ Pistoleer..
scary.

first: bad 'template'. overcapping on pistolspeed (+129), getting quite some shots with no real point for pvp etc pp and
with this 'setup' they still won't be able to kill a non-newbie jedi (hitting an 'advanced' jedi with ranged weapons is even harder than before the recent publish, if you get 1% of the shots actually to do damage you should consider yourself lucky). And from this I can understand them not being happy with this.
This change opens up for some real 'jedi killer' templates which all include just dabbling in BH (TKM, BH 3-0-0-0, Novice Medic for example, in the new system jedi are very vulnerable too melee profs as they do not have any melee toughness or melee damage mitigation and their def against the ranged profs, sabre block, does not apply to melee attacks). I guess rangers should know that feeling of dabblers being more able to do the 'job' of a profession than masters of that profession can do, last time I checked most rangers are quite annoyed that this is the case for the ranger prof, of all profs *we* should understand the BH complaints about this best.

I have no clue about a Pistoleer Template. I was quoting a BH from a thread about it. He seemed quite stoked.
