Looking to hire a ranger to track for farmer (altruism badge) asap. I'm here now looking for my final badge. Payment is 500k for successful location of farmer (must find him for payment). Contact Thunderbolt in-game, I'm on now searching

Just a few suggestions:
Firstly, from what ive heard about the spawning of the NPC, it doesnt spawn until the player enters the spawning radius. Therefore, a ranger could be within 200 meters of it, and he wouldnt have spawned until you enter its radius.
Secondly, personally I wouldnt stipulate payment upon location. You are paying for Time spent tracking for you, time spent learning the skills necessary to track, and the sacrifice of hunting and harvesting animals' resources to make the same 500k upon selling the resources obtained during the time spent helping you.
What I would do, is say 500k for an alloted amount of time, 1 or 2 hrs tracking (or 300k base price +200k upon location of the NPC)

3 of us did this last night and got nothing. I'm not certain that you are going to improve your chances with a ranger. /areatrack has problems sometimes, and this is one of them: does not work unless the MOB has spawned and it does not spawn unless you are 128m from the farmer.

If you still want a Ranger as help, my rate is 500k upfront per hour, no success guarantee whatsover (if you want to pay for a 'successful find' only, you better up the offer *a lot* to make people spend time on this search, after all the risk of coming out empty handed is quite high, a 'gambling' nature might find interest if the prize to win is high enough )

yeah i was w/ fred last night. We split up...3 rangers /areatracking in different directions....nothing popped up. I heard that the farmer may not be trackable. But I'll probably be on later tonight looking. Send a tell to Phe'nix Antaurs and I'll let you know if I find him.

i cant afford that, sorry.
How about 150k per hr ? Anyone ? Man I knew I shouldnt have given up ranger ! Any love out there for a former master ranger

i will consider it if you sign the "In Memorium" post...trying to get that signed a bunch of times by the former master Rangers to generate some dev attention lol.
BTW, if I decide to go looking for this quest, I'll be out there anyway...payment will be your option, since I'm looking for the badge too. I'd LIKE money, don't get me wrong...but it's at your whim, really.

the problem as I see it is if it doesn't spawn until you hit 128m anyway, you should be able to see it on your radar just as easily as a ranger can /areatrack for it.
Anyway, I hope you find it... I've been thining about doing those missions, but I've been too busy in RL and getting hides to fill orders to start it

ahh but since I'm doing the mission too...it SHOULD spawn if I'm there...areatrack will just help to see if someone else spawned it too, so I can get over there

Hmm, if it doesnt show on radar (from what I hear) itmight not show up tracking as well. Anyone know if the farmer respawns in same spot shortly thereafter like the boar does ? If so, a little teamwork to cover more ground and we could all get this done. We had 3 people out covering areas for the boar last night. Finally the sucker popped up, we killed it and every 2 min after another spawned (4 total).

I was looking last night and this morning. I had it spawn on me three times. I was able to track it, but the swoop riders got to it before I could the first two times.
The last two times were in the vecinity of two large rock formations semi SE of the three arches.

After 10 hours looking in vain I finally found the farmer. He was at 2545, 1741. If I hadnt caught him, he might have ended up in Espa as he was moving west at a brisk pace.
