Thread: Need help locating specific creature

Greetings all,
I have gotten slightly frustrated of late. I have been hunting mantrigues and gurrecks on endor for about a week now, and it has been somewhat profitable. However, on my areatrack there are always the same types of other creatures over and over again. Mantrigue spawns (preferably screechers or reapers) are a lot more rare in comparison to other creatures. So does anyone know where Mantrigue's are prone to spawn on Endor? Thanks for your help

Since the spawns are supposed to be random, I don't suppose there is a specific place to find what you are looking for. BUT, I always seem to trip over the gurrecks and mantigrues to the East of the smugglers outpost. I do a loop about 3-5 K out, going from Ne to Se.
They don't spawn less than anything else on the planet, it just seems that way since everyone ignores the other stuff and focuses on one or two types of animals. When thespawn is dead, it will generate another random critter. If it is a mantigure/gurrick, fine, but if not, then there is another spawn that will be ignored. A good way to see the effects of this is to log when the server comes up. The spawns will be of many different types of critters. As the day wears on, the desirable lairs will be hunted unitl they are replaced with the unwanted lairs.
There are 2 ways to find the lairs you want. Kill everything in an area and wait for the spawn to change, or go way out in the wilderness where nothing has spawned yet.

Egrims post is very well put! I will add DESTROY, DESTROY and DESTROY it forces thigs to respawn. Right now I am hunting on YAVIN still. and when I get on in the afternoon nothing but GACKLE BATS and GLASS SNAKES.....ewwwwwww. so I kill everything around and sure enough I get desireable spawns.
Now on the other hand I have had a negative affect on CORRELLIA! After the lairs are gone nohting spawns. And in the peak of the day or on weekends nothing at all spawns outside of 1500 km around big city's.

You can try following the link in my sig and doing a search for the creatures you are interested in. People might have listed where they have been spotted in the past.
While this won't guarantee you will find them, it will at least let you know where they could spawn. (Updating it if you find a new spot helps us all as well.)
