Hiya all, I'm sure you have all heardof how Devs will remove the Trapping, survival and Hunting Line from the Bounty Hunters, so that means:
WITH NO BH's REQUESTING FOR THEM BEING ALBE TO USE TRAPS ON PVP AND NPC's .... NOW WE CAN ASK FOR IT!!!
I think we should start thinking of changing the Outdoorman proposal to include things that NRass didnt include because it was the rightful thinkg to give to BH instead of Rangers, but now trap usage in PvP and NPC can become our realm!!!
I think we should even start considering asking the devs how we can now not become a creature centered profession but to include some NPc and PvP abilities!
We should start pushing to get this implemented on the Combat and GCW revamp!
What ya guys think?

First of all id like to say apart from getting rid of some of the moaners out of our forum hehethey shouldnt of reduced the points. I hope this is just a temp thing because after bh's get all their super offense/defense updates nothing will stand in their way if they also grab some tk too. Things are gonna get way out of hand.
But yeah back on topic:
Yeah we could ask for npc traps and pc traps but the problem is that this couldmean either two things:
- The devs saying scout traps are ONLY for creatures so bounty hunters should not have them. They should have their own npc/pc traps.
- Devs saying that bh should not have traps at all.
I tend to favour the 1st as the possible reason for this. We WILL be creature centric and bh's will get their own pc traps.

We are PVC folks. (Player VS Creature)
If you want to trap humans, yer gonna have to be a BH and request it over there.
I dont think Scout/Ranger traps should EVER affect humanoids.
I DO think they should affect CH and BE pets.

Well it all depends on what your perception of a ranger is, and this is open to discussion. Im personnaly in the creature centric corner but thats only my opinion on how things should go forward.
And as for PVC? If your into that kinky gimp stuff then fair enough but im definatly not.

If the "Creature Centric"-view stays, I think I'll be dropping Ranger. Not because I'm all that about PvP but I'd like some more PvE content, and all the content going in is NPC orientated.
I don't see why we are to be limited to creatures? Are bounty hunters limited to NPC/PCs? No. Everyone who can kill NPCs can kill creatures. Now if they give us a lot of "creature firepower" ( and I mean a lot ) it would be acceptable.
After the CB that would translate into us being the only profession capable of bringing down the high-end creatures and oh, the whining that will occur if that happens.
This game is so focused on killing creatures that every ( combat ) profession has to be more or less equal in that regard in order to avoid complaints. We are never going to get the advantage we deserve if they keep us creature only.
