Well, this is one of the depressingly frequent YARG emails...
You know the template:
1. Intro and rememberence of happy days of early Rangerhood (check)
2. Short discussion of the shortcomings of the current implementation, eg lack of differentiation, "skills" that eat skill points but do not confer any actual benefit, bugs, lack of dedicated developer resources or interest, no short term prospect of improvement, etc (ditto)
3. Decleration of everlasting love for the Ranger Ideal and Ranger Community (very true)
4. Closing and promise to return once the problems are solved (definitely)
Thank you for everything, I hope that you don't mind me hanging around the forum, and watch you from a distance with longing eyes if you hold another GRM

Should we Ex-Rangers form a support group?

I think between the last couple parties we've thrown we're all "recovering" Rangers.
but in all seriousness...keep on the boards no matter where you end up. It's the only way to keep the community, which is the lifeblood of this so-called proffession. We're a community like no other. Let's not lose that just because skill points are being shifted.
May I also suggest we start (and sticky) a departing Rangers thread? A place for all of those who have come and are going to sign, just so we can get a count on how many have left. That way, the devs SEE how many people are leaving. It's all up front and in their face. just a thought.
