wandering about on Tat yesterday, looking for creatures to tame, using AreaTrack ..... when I saw a creature I'd never heard of before ....
A Wild Bladeback Boar.
2 minutes later - Badge of Courage 
It then proceeded to spawn another 3 times at more or less the same spot within about 1 minute of the previous one being killed ..... so another 3 guildies got their badge of courage too hehe

I've spent about 30 hours looking for that pig since the quest launched. I'm beginning to think they misspelled "Bore" =)

Silicon forgive my ignorance, but what quest is that? Is it part of the hermit quest?

Found another one last night, a couple of k away from the previous spawn I saw ....
The thing is - I must be lucky !!
I had just done an areatrack and the boar did not show up. Just about to climb on my speeder when I noticed a yellow dot on the radar about 100m away that I'm sure wasn't there before ...... yes .... it was that boar again !!

I spent a couple hours looking for that stupid pig last night, but to no avail. Still, the day was not a complete loss, since first thing in the morning I was able to track down a graul marauder for three of our server's well-known Jedi. I considered that a bit of a triumph for rangering. Which got me thinking that, even though Publish 9 was clearly all about the Jedi, between the Jedi Knight trials and the hero of Tatooine quest, some content was actually created for us, albeit indirectly. In any case, it felt nice to be useful, and if I weren't personally more interested in the roleplay opportunities for it, it'd be a nice way to make some quick monkey as well.

Cool - I've gotten really lucky with these spawns -- have not even had to use areatrack. So far, I have found the boar and the pirates really quickly. I think maybe next week I'll search for the other spawns -- all of the l33t do0ds buzzing around on their speeders (inevitably av-21's *sigh*) are beginning to get me down.
