Sorry yall...been away for a short time, evidently all kinds of things happened in my absence. Anyone care to break down how to best use the new rules? I tried soloing, I tried soloing grouped with a droid, and I tried soloing with a droid to harvest with.

Soloing sucked

Soloing with a droid was a little better

Grouped with the droid, with the droid harvesting was the worst

Grouped with the droid, but harvesting by hand seemed to be the best.

My numbers may not have been correct. Anyone have any info on these changes? WHat is the best way to go as a solo Ranger? I would really like to be able to take advantage of this bonus AND still be able to use my droid (cuz harvesting by hand sucks). Any setup tips out there?

Droids don't count as group members. Therefore, no change to your harvest. And before you say anything, this change is keeping with the vast majority who wanted to get droids out of groups to stop the 40% reduction with a droid - they got what they wanted, now are suffering the consequences (not unlike the BHs and traps).

Harvesting droids may or not be broken, no answer yet, but they still harvest off your old numbers. Grouped, ungrouped, they still suck.

Solo harvesting if you are a Master went up 50% in ability, or about 25% total harvest. Now Master is worth it.

Soloing at any other level remains the same.

Thanks Mat....sounds like I will finally have to reach master. 8( I wish the SP wasn't so huge.....just a few less points.
