Hey, dont know if this has been already touched on...

If you are on Corbantis, you can find me at the Labour Outpost on Yavin, ive been living there for the past few days, hunting Choku for the amazing avian meat...my question is this:

Have droids been giving the old nerf boot when it comes to group hunting?

I have been hunting in a group, and when i used my droid i have noticed that i am harvest almost 20 units less per harvest with my droid, and i dont get the message saying that i received a bonus because i am in a group.

When i harvest by hand in a group i harvest about 5 units more than if i had my droid out, and i get the group harvest mod message.

Yet...If i am hunting solo, i collect ALOT more with my droid than if i was in a group.

Dont know if the devs are trying to force rangers to hunt solo or not. But its making me lean towards solo hunting, i enjoy taking new scouts out hunting, but i am loosing ALOT of resources by doing so.

Personally i think that they should abolish this silly Harvest penalty when you are in a group with less-experienced scouts.

Your thoughts?

Simply put you cant have it both ways. We asked for droid/pets to not count towards a group because of the old -40% penalty. The devs granted our wishes and CH's rejoiced. Now the balls in the other court and we cant be hypocrits and ask it for to fixed the other way. Besides lets remember this is to encourage true group play. Allow a pet/droid to count as a group and we go back to being soloists again.

Yeah your right leexard. Not sure why that parts broken. But most people are complaining that grouping with a droid doesnt count as being a group at all. The droid not getting part of the bonus is broken but is probaly related to the other issue.

Nope, they've never said anything like that. It's most surely an oversight on their part.

ok, thanks for the info. I guess i missed that thread.

The grouping bonus isn't applied when the droid is doing the harvesting in a group.

It wasn't nerfed, just an oversight. I can understand Rangers not getting the bonus when they are only grouped with a droid but in a "real" group, it's not WAD. It just can't be :/
