It's your imagination.
Prediction: 5 more people will respond to this thread with "You are right, my maskscent works better in the rain to!"
Ahh...the power of suggestion.

To my knowledge there is no weather or environmental modifier in the game. That said I have noticed that somedays things seem to work better than others. Somedays you can't get camo to stick to save your life but maskscent hits it everytime. Other days its the opposite. Seems prettty random to me ( sometimes too random as if our modifiers have nothing to do with it.)

Talking about rain... My HTFB schematic has a architectual flaw. Do you guys havea schematic for one that won't leak when it rains?

Nope. No environmental modifiers, just CL versus your skill level and a dose of luck. (Ignoring of course the special 'kreetle exception' that allows them to break maskscent on MR's at 90m just as easily as they'd break a greenhorn scouts maskscent)

Just the camp labeled "small generic house deed" that also provides complete agro protection and allow BF heal with an entertainer.

We did ask for environmental effects *looks through stickies*... I predict they put them in without telling us because they knew we'd love it, but it's currently not working properly so they aren't telling us yet.
*counts to see if we've reached 5 yet*

Mask scent doesnt work with rain, and it probably shouldnt. One of the ways to mask your scent from animals is to stand in the smoke from a fire. The smell if fresh smoke from a fire will deter animals. However, after a while, the scent fades/gets older, and they wont worry about it anymore. I would imagine, that in heavy rain, the scent would fade off. The other method is to wash/rub on yourself and your clothes aromatic herbs/plants, like pine/mint. Again, I would imagine this would wash off in the rain.
