Hi all!
I'm a Scout, with Survival4, and I like to set up camps. I use them to make a rendevous place when I set up hunting expeditions with my townies/guildies. I've seen some of the Ranger camps, and they look really cool. My question is, can I buy them from a Ranger and use them myself? I'm low on SP and can't really do the Ranger habitat branch. Thanks for your advice!

Sorry, but as no. You might be able to use high quality, but I don't think you can. What camp you use has to do with your camping mod, and a XXX4 scout just doesn't have enough.

Besides the camps you can already craft, you can only use camps one box higher than your survival skill.
So, at survival 4, you can only use the improved camp kit that you already have, since the master scout box doesn't offer a new camp schematic. (Master scouts can use the novice ranger "high quality camp" kit, though.)

Some one realy needs to go out and test the one lower thing... me and a friend that was going for SL where haveing trouble with it. Its been a bit though.

Seemed to work fine for me when I was leveling a TC ranger a couple of months ago (sans blue frog). And it worked about a week ago on of my rangers that dropped frontiering.
I used a HTFB at frontiering 3, and a Field Base at frontiering 1 - both one box below when the schematic is granted.
Just curious.. was your SL toon a master scout? If you just had survival 4, the highest level camp you could use is the "improved camp kit".
