This petition is unlike any other petition ever written. This petition goes out to the devs to please, PLEASE restore the mighty kreetle to their former greatness.
First let me take a minute to talk about this noble creature to Tatooine. Though small in stature and strength, the Kreetle is one of the most noble and fearless creatures of Tatooine. They may have the strength of a chuba, but they have the heart of the Mighty Krayt Dragon. The Kreetle does not care who or what you are. If you breach their personal space, they will fight you to the death to defend themselves and their herd. Even the most skilled Ranger, with the best camoflage gear around cannot sneak past this beloved creature. This Krayt-Hearted insect has the nose of a Bloodhound.
But, in the upcoming Combat Update (at least as it currently exhists) the Kreetle has been turned from a Krayt Dragon to a Scyk Lizard. Gone are the days of Maskscent breaking by Kreetles. Gone are the days of this noble creature definding his right to live by any means necessary.
I implore you... no BEG you to please bring this Tiny Giant of Tatooine back to his once held place of respect in the hearts of all hunters everywhere. Please bring the Might Kreetles back to the aggressive Krayt Dragon of an insect that they currently are in the Live Servers.

and now on the CU server, Kreetles are yellow dots instead of red ones.
Kreetles always had my /bmoc vote because no matter how tough the player was, whether they were a master ranger/rifleman, or the Dark Jedi Overlord, or a Defense Stacker leet speaking pvp'er, the Kreetle would still go after you. They just didn't care who you were. But now they have been reduced to the level of a Flesh Eating Chuba.

Calc stated in another thread that the Kreetles were likely just made non-aggro for the low-level combat testing on tat.
I would suggest you drop a line for the devs in the TC boards to maybe just get an answer and to express that you would like to see Kreetles stay as an aggro creature. But, no need to freak out.
I do share your sentiments though, Oreet. I hope to continue having my camo broken by those fearless devils.

I just don't want them around the Krayts when I have camo'd my guildies. Man, that was a slaughter last weekend

i hope calc is right, and i can see why they would do that, since we're all complete noobs there on TC5. but hopefully those 100k HAM spice fiends will vanish soon.
and the Kreetles are 1-shot kills for most of us, but still gotta respect em.

I've got mixed feelings on this one.
On the one hand, I've always been somewhat irritated by the fact that my maskscent/camo would break so frequently around these guys. I remember early on as a scout the worst sight I could see was the very large number of exclamation points popping up over the kreetles as they became aware of me....
On the other: from a ranger's POV, I gotta admire the sheer fearlessness these things have. Unremittingly hostile, don't care who you are-novice scout, master ranger, and any profession in between. And I must admit, I can't disagree with anything you've said in this post. Consider me persuaded!

The naritus forums have a post going titled: "What player do you love to hate"
As a non-PvPer, I had to say the Kreetles. They've got the might of a nuna but the will of a Krayt.

one of the higher end pvping Jedi on lowca started a "What gets your /bmoc creature vote?" thread. well most were saying things like Gorax and Krayts. But one of the more prominent Jedis actually gave props to the Kreetles. He was saying that as he rides across tatooine, he's amazed at these little buggers, and respects them because no matter what, they will attempt to kill him, even as he speeds by on a swoop at top speed.

Seeing what the kreetles were reduced to in TC5 almost made me cry. Non-aggro? A kreetle?
Also is it just me or has their size been increased?
