I happen to check out the Creature Handler forums since one of my Rangers is a also a MCH and I found the following post:

I guess we'll be getting a first look at the Kashyyyk on TC-5 so we can help Beta Test the environment ?
If so, we could have the next great Ranger meet there - assuming the blue frogs are available etc. etc.
Screenies of a decent sized company of Rangers scouting out the new planet would be awesome.

Ive no idea what server it will be on, i would expect it to be on a different server as it will most likely be a closed beta but you can never be certain.
Doubt it will be on tc-5 though, not everyone wants to download the expansion and yeah because it will most likely be close beta. More info coming over the next week or so.

I distinctly recall reading that we would be beta testing both the expansion and the CU together - and there hasn't been a request to sign-up for Beta of the expansion has there ?
I know there was a Beta signup for the CU .... way back when ....
so my guess is that the last week or so of Beta will be have the expansion - so we can get a brief test of some of the missions etc. also the cybernetics may need some balancing too.

Well no they didnt say together, they said at the same time, so it could mean anything.
Also corrs, and alpha members get into the beta automatically the devs said so that suggests it will be a closed beta. Obviously this could of all changed but im still expecting a closed beta rotw.
The CU should of been a closed beta so we could have focused testing and id be very disapointed if RotW wasnt.

They need to hurry up with a beta test. There isnt even a month left. I want more information about the expansion damnit.
ps. somebody post some more tc5 screenshots. Unless it againt the law then I dont want anyone to go to jail.
