I just read Calc's post. I am saddened by what he says. I am saddened at the sudden realization of what the ranger forum has become.
We were once known as the "nice" profession, we never used to whine, complain, b!tch like the other profs did to get there way.
however in the past few weeks, that has completely been turned up-side down, I am as much to blaim as the next ranger...
But what Calc says is true, we do not know what is in-store for us. Yes, we are worried that our worst fears may come true, but we have to wait and see what happens before we can launch a true arguement. Is it un-fair that the devs have been silent??? yes. But we must wait.
I do not want to see Calc gone from this forum, and i think that many others feel the same way.
Sign here my ranger brothers and sisters, when/if you sign, sign because you want to change your attitude, which has corrupted our forum, and sign because you want to be patient, and sign because you value what Calc has to say

You don't need a petition, just go to his post "I am done" and ask him to reconsider. If he sees all of us, even some of us who have disagreed with him, and at times heatedly, then hopefully he will reconsider. There are already to many petitions.

Don't need a petition, just need to know a person's trigger phrases. Observe:
Calc's newfound isolationist policy is A SLAP IN THE FACE to anyone who has ever sported or will ever sport a ranger tag.
Now we wait.

I thought as ranger's we were meant to be unsociable gits?
When the CU arrives, I'm taking my gun, my tent, my traps and maybe a decent Clancy novel and heading for the hills. It's y2k all over again!![]()

I will miss him, but maybe we should have thought about other people before we started emoting all over the place.I ranted a few times, so part of the guilt is mine, for that i apologize.
he will be back when he wants to, not before, not later..
Now I'm angry... we've alienated and shunted one of the best people on the forums.
