Thread: Milk question?

OK.. while I'm not a newbie to the Ranger prof, I've pretty much stuck to harvesting the basic three: skins, meat, bones.
I see alot of posts about harvesting milk. When in hades did this start happening and how do you do it?
Or am I just over analyzing and "harvesting milk" mean something else entirely?

All you have to do is find a female critter (kaadu, famba, ect.), mask scent and call up the radial. Collect milk should be one of the choices, start milking and stay very close to the critter as milking takes a little time and if the critter moves too much you will get nothing and have to start all over.

To milk a creature follow this list:
1) find a female, non baby, mammal. Note some races do not list the females and females but instead has a special name for the males)
2) mask you scent.
3) move up to the creature, closer then 5 m but 0 is best.
4) open up the radial menu. And choose milk for it.
5) start to follow the creature around while you are milking it, and pray it do not warp, levitate, or sprint.
6) after a few system messages you will have milked the creature.
7) milk do not auto stack, you have to stack it you self.

I can add that the best way to give milk is on dantooine with pikets. Also tatooine with banthas. Never tryed how fast is it on naboo.
The stats you need high are OQ, PE and FL in 33% each.

Naboo is amazingly fast for milk. Many creatures are giving an insane amount of milk on Naboo these days.... Unfortunately on Eclipse the current Nabooian wild milk ishardly even grind quality.

This started quit some time ago. If milkthe milk has good or great qualities then be sure to harvest it!

Famba are great for milk. I get 100-240 milk perfamba. Better yet, they're all female. Find agood sizednatural spawn, and you should be looking at well over 2k of milk from that single lair. Even a mission lair should get you an easy 1k.
When I want Nabooian Milk, I run between Karen & Kadaara. Famba, Bole Bol, Gulama, Kadu, & Ikopi are every where up there. They're all nice low intensity critters for milking, and even if it's junk all that wooly & leathery hideis a nice bonus.
