/area no longer works; we have to type out the whooooollleee loooonnnggggg /areatrack. (My poor aching fingahs! Kiddin'.)
Any chance of them shortening it back to just /area? A year's habit dies hard.

Sounds like there's a new ability that starts with /area now, maybe?
If that doesn't work, /areat should, or /areatr
I just use a macro

No new ability starting with /area, and /areat and /areatr don't work. Only /areatrack, the full command.

Another suggestion would be to use ctrl+a and move the maskscent icon to your toolbar. It obviously takes up a space that you can't use for a weapon special but I use it so much I felt it was worth it.

try /ar, that used to work.
However as the previous post says, bind to an F key. I had my area track on F6, who know's what it'll be on when I next log in though.

There were some other commands that you could no longer use shortcuts for but I forget what they were. /ponder Does /ex still work for /examine? If not, the shortcuts may be disabled, hopefully temporarily.

Alias' ARE still working. I think I may create a new alias for /ar... although... with the SEVER lack of non-mission hunting, I'm finding I'm using my once most favoured skill very rarely
