Thread: GRM First Post CU : Kashyyyk!!! (May 5th / May 6th)
- Gather resources for the New Camoflage Kits (And Start a Factory Making them)
- Visit all the new POI's on Kashyyyk
- Visit and other Special Locations that may not be Official POI's
- Do some of the NewQuests??
- Take DNA Samples? (If any BE's are with us)
- Capture Babies? (If any Creature Handlers are with us)
- Find the Rarest Creatures? (No clue what these will be)
- Get a Sample of Every Creature Resource and Add this to "swgcraft.com"
- Gather info on the new Creature Mobs
- Loot Creatures in Case they Drop Anything Cool
- Collect Info on All Creatues on Kashyyk (Animals)
- Take lots of Screenshots
- If there is a Kashyyyk Race Track Race on it??
- Kill Trandoshans at Wookiee Slave Camps? (Assuming you can find any)
- Explore anywhere you haven't yet explored.
- Get Kashyyyk Related Badges
- ?? Other Suggestions ??
What would you most like to do? Let me know and we can figure out our activities.
I have said May 5th and 6th in order to provide us with plenty of time to do lots of Kashyyk related stuff. As the event is being sponsored by the Hunter's Alliance (basically me) if you need any Crates of Traps or Camo for the Mission just let me know. Some Prizes will be given out after the GRM to anyone participating for 4 or more hours consecutively.
The prizes will be decided upon myself and will be In Game Items or Credits.
If you know any Creature Handlers / Combat Medics / Bio Engineers etc that would like to come please tell them they are Welcome.
To be sucessful we will need Some Combat Medics and Possibly Doctors Accompanying us on this trip. (The CU Revolves around Groups and the Ability to heal)Combat Medics can heal groups fairly easily, and speed up thepace of combatetc.
Please leave your Wanderhome contact info here. And if posible in game mail "Torath" if you want to come, and on what days and times you can.
I found this I don't remember where but it seems that Kashyyyk may only be sort of an expanded Dungeon, and not really a new planet per say, if this is so we'll do the content and if people want, switch planets and do something else.
Kashyyyk consists of 11 new zones. Four of the zones are public (three on the ground and one new space zone), while the other seven are instanced adventure areas. The instanced areas contain specific adventures and quests for groups to fight their ways through, while the public zones contain a mix of directed quests and general free-form hunting content. In addition to the questing on Kashyyyk itself, players will also start an epic journey there that will lead them to the far corners of the galaxy, as well as introduce them to the presence of the most fearsome and heroic characters in the Star Wars universe.

Yea I think the whole thing of trying to force you to buy stuff in the store to get what you wabt is stupid.
It's not even that for me. Sure, I'd like the new lizard mount, but after the complete horrocks over the size of Pub 15's files, I'm not committing myself to the digital download until we know it can be done by linking direct to a file and hauling it down rather than depending on that PoS launchpad patcher.
So, I'll not be at this GRM, might manage along to one sometime in June (as I seriously doubt that the UK will see the boxed discs on the same day as the rest of civilisation gets them)
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass on this one.
Mainly, everyone is going to head out there on the first day. So, it's going to be laggy and crowded. And also, it's during the double XP week. I've got an armorsmith that needs finishing.
Even on my home server, I think I might avoid heading to Kashyyyk for the first couple of days.
Also, from what I've gathered... it seems much of the planet is quest based or instanced. I may be wrong, but it doesn't sound like it's a planet free to explore like the planets we know now. That's just a guess though.
- Some People won't yet have Rage of the Wookies
- Wanderhome is a light to mid population
- We will try to vary our routine and not be in uber crowded zones
- Your a noob on Wanderhome so my level is low
- As long as your grouped with someone lvl 80 you take less damage live someone lvl 80 would.
- If we have a Master Combat Medic with us you can be easily rezed
I'll be there. I pre ordered RotW. When will I be able to do the digital download?
Oh, I'm only level 68 right now, Master Ranger, 2222 Rifleman.
I'm still for now Master Ranger / Teras Kasi Master - Level 80
The above Combo allows a Master Ranger to be Ultra Efficent what with Meditating away wounds and no bulky armor to slow you down, so you move faster then any other combo excluding Jedi with Force Run.
