I like to think I know a fair deal about harvesting resources and jusdging thier relative qualities in order to properly price them. However, I am by no means an expert on the subject, hell I only found out that the qualities shift a couple weeks ago. I know I would love to see a guide from an expert, someone who has recource shifting and harvesting down cold (the Micheal Jordan of harvesting if you will). Something that runs from the scary basics to the advanced principles such as signs that something is trending down and such.

Anyone have any links to such a guide if it already exists? Or perhaps such a player would like to step foward and offer up their wisdom to the rest of the community? I know some of the other professions may have members who horde info, but we tend to be fairly straightfoward and helpfull to eachother (which is good given the general rarity of rangers on most servers).

The resources shift on random basis determined by a complicated formula including but not limited to the time of day, the date, the month, location, the amount of that resource previously available, the weather, what pizza the Devs had last nite, and the airspeed of a swallow carrying a coconut. Add all the factors, dvivide by the number of jellyfish it will take to shingle a doghouse, and you have your answer.

I have been trying to track it, so far there is no pattern other than there is no pattern. You take what ya get I guess.
