Thread: Rangers and minefields...how does this work?

As above, how does this work? Can the ranger see/search/scan for mine fields? Are they guaranteed disarm every attempt?
Why isn't this used more often?
While raiding a faction base on Naboo, our ranger was in the process of disarming the mine field, when someone ran right past them and blew them both up...ouch. Should the ranger macro "Stay back! Mine field disarmament in progress!!!"?

Supposedly one can disarm them using the warning sign's radial menu. Every time I've tried to do this, I get a message saying I can't find any mines to disarm.
And by "every time", I mean the one time that I tried it.

yeah it helps disarm mines... but not by much, it also helps you aviod mines... i avoided one mine and got hit by the other 9 there....
