Does anyone know if the creature to-hit bonus we rangers get applies to melee attacks as well as ranged? I know it says "only normal ranged attacks" in the description, but one would think normal melee attacks SHOULD get the same bonus.

Man I'm a TKA and I had no idea that bonus was doing nothing for me. Here I thought It was helping me out even though it didn't seem to make a difference when I got it :b

Relative to how much damage TKAs do, the to-hit bonus isn't a huge loss. You wouldn't notice a difference with and without it anyways.

I think it may be working...
I am only a novice piker, and I can never hit other players/npcs with my LVA, but at tracking 2, I regularly hit creatures.

I think once you get to Master level of a melee profession you won't care since you won't miss much regardless. It would be a nice thing to have but in the end it doesn't have much effect on gameplay. I's more a matter of principle at this point.
