Hello all,

First off, I'm not doing this because a holo told me too, I'm just taking my time and trying out all of the professions. Ranger has always appealed to me, so this is where I am now.

Now on to my question, I heard that wilderness survival xp can now be gained by crafting camps and trapsin practice sessions, is this true? If it is, then how do I get it to work, I've tried and didn't get any xp.

Are you certain you didn't receive the experience?

You won'treceive any system messages when you make crafting experience (no profession does).

You will need to check the Ctrl-S screen directly to see if you made any experience.

Camp outside a large town. Try to make conversation.

Practice in a small window.

Yeah, that's what NRaas, my bad. If you look at my profession history you'll notice I've never done a crafting profession before...
