That's right kiddos, I'm ba-ack!! Just re-made novice Ranger ...and I have a *LOT* of fishing to do! It's actually kind of funny, because I went from master ranger to at one point not even having novice scout, and here I am again

So, who all's still a Ranger on Starsider? Tanlo?Gervase? Ide? Any of the other old schoolers still around besides Blakk and Lantyssa ? What about greens? Any green rangers on SS?

The good news for me is I haven't been gone too long... in fact I don't think there have been any changes since I left at all? Well, I'll find out soon enough, but from what I've read, Kreetles still break conceal, HTFB still doesn't stop rain or agg, and /areatrack still is limited by dynamic spawn system. Oh well (^_^)

I've seen two unconfirmed reports of the HTFB stopping aggressives. I haven't tested it myself though. Other than that, nope, no changes.

Oh, Gervase was still a Master as of a week ago. He was the one that trained me.

HTFB don't stop aggro. You will like Tracking and Camo Kits tho (hide from NPCs!). It will be far easier getting survival exp and the making of camps,traps and camogive that instead of artisan exp now

Jees Fred, it hasn't been *that* long! I left to squander my riches (see title) about a week after camo kits stop requiring flora food.

As for the HTFB not stopping aggros....I was on a Krayt hunt 2 days agowith my guild and we were in a camp healing up and a group brought a Krayt our way, proceeded to kill the people it was chasing and then hung around for a while. It didn't aggro us and eventually walked away. Its the only time the HTFB has ever worked and I dont really feel like testing it out on Krayts on a regular basis until I know its fixed. If I have time this weekend ill go to dantooine and test it against some Huurtons.

Critters generally have to get within 20m to aggro. It might not have gotten close enough by random movements. Also, I found that badly wounded critters aggro less (but some still do).Trust me, it does not have any additionaleffect you would not have observed by just sitting there... other then terran deformation.

Still love my ranger but i need to kick some ass...

the krayt was definately closer then 20m....his head broke the camp barrier but he didnt aggro

I'd honestly rather give up CH than ranger, Im so pleased with the ranger skills
