a vendor is prone to 'fraud' in your case. Say your first client wants 50K, he places the order for the first 30 and picks it up off your vendor as agreed on. He hands in another 20K contract and finds out there are a few others before him. He goes to the vendor the next day regardless of his contract, finds another 25K of organics on there, buys it and he's done.

Of course since you can see WHO bought the stuff you can then boycot the **edit**, but if you're a busy guild (and judging from the need for organics, you will be once word gets around), that takes more administrative time then you expect and will want. Best to just make the deal one to one

The rest of it sounds pretty good. You might want to put a higher price on hard-to-obtain meats rather then just the stats. It takes a lot longer to gather 30K corellian avian meat then it does 30K Dathomir carnivore meat.

actually, because of the much harder to obtain nature of things like corellian avian, perhaps it's not the price that needs to change but the max order. Changing the price to insane amounts means the rich will order it anyway, not that you'll be gathering any less. It might be better to adjust the max order amount to e.g. 10-15K for those kinds.

If you're really dedicated to finding the perfect ratio, spend 2 hours hunting for avian meat, 2 hours hunting for herbivore meat, 2 hours for insect meat, stuff like that. Analyse how much you gather up and adjust your ratio accordingly. Don't hunt as fast as possible, hunt like you wouldn't mind hunting for the whole day on end, that's the most realistic data you can get.

Ok, so the AR guild on Tempest is about to open up it's skillz to take orders for large quantities of organics. While I think this is a good idea, it also terrifies me, heh. Basically, I would like some feedback on what our ruels or standards should be. So far, we have come up with:

30k max order. If they want more, then can place another order after they recieve the first.

Standardized pricing. We may be adopting the price formula provided on this wonderful board. Not sure yet.

Orders are first come, first serve.

Right now, we have a designated delivery boy, but are unsure to weather we should get a vendor, or make the trades one on one.

We (tenatively) plan to open up or doors (so to speak) in one week.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the input folks, keep it comming. I like the idea of lowering the amounts. Also, does anyone have a link to the pricing formula? I have seen it here many times, but like a dumbas$, I never copy it down.
