So the band Primus is in town, I'm going to see them tonight. My office is about 2 blocks from the venue, so in theory, they're probably right nearby. I just went to the record store down the block andthe clerktold me he's hoping they stop in, because Henry Rollins, Sonic Youth, and many others often stop in when they're playing here.
So I'm back in my office thinking, "man, they're probably roaming around right now, looking for a bite to eat or checking out all the funky downtown shops" I can see out the window onto one of the downtown streets, but who knows.... then I had a "brilliant" thought....
I can just areatrack for them!
D'oh... back to reality,I guess not....
butI guess rangering is really a part of my strange psyche.. hehe

I had one of those experiences the other day.
I drive 35 miles to the university everyday, there and back listening to NPR (pop music sucks and gives me hives). Anyway, I get a great internship and I have to drive somewhere on campus that I havent been to before. I am wondering where it is....
The sun is shining and reflects off of my windshield, reflecting the blue painjob on my car and I see a blue streak of light shooting up to the sky. My first thought is "ah good, theres the waypoint" I started laughing, realizing that I just earned about 20 geek points.
you guys are the first ones ive told about this...not even my wife knows.
Thanks *sniff* i need the support

Been winter here, but finally had a sunny day yesterday we have not seen in a while. I held my hand up to block out the sun and suddenly, involentarily, looked left, then right, then waited for 5 seconds... annoyed that the pop up was taking so long...
...then my blood ran cold...

I did that once except it was a slightly more dangerous thought. I had playing Grand Theft Auto 2 for a long time and my girlfriend was driving and the car in front of us stopped to take a turn. For a very brief second I though...Why did she stop? Why didnt she just swerve around the car and go up on the curb. OH well I thought it was very amusing at the time and took a break from my game after that hehe.

Before SWG I played Diablo 2. Everytime I'd close my eyes to go to sleep at night, or even when I blinked, I had the afterimage of hundreds of 'drops' burned into my mind.... oh the colors... It was anoying as hell.

Outside of dreams that mix SWG experiences with SG1 episodes............
I used to have a problem looking for sticky mines as I peeked around the hallway corners in my office. Um, maybe he's standing on the other side of the vending machine with rocket launcher or maybe it's just a notebook with presentation notes..........

You never can tell. I'd just pull the .45 and start capping. Better him than you, right?
