Yeah I know making wiremesh traps in a factory, then getting fully buffed and just sitting there throwing worked really fast for scout, but is there any better way to do it for ranger? Any new traps in ranger that can be used over and over again?

Use glow wire traps. You can throw them repeatedly. Go to Dathomir with a big group and just throw trap after trap on Rancors.

Craft the following and hot-key them:
P-Dart, Glow-Wire, Bone-spur and Ad. Mesh.
Throw them in that order. All on each critter you can. The trapping exp will be the first tree you finish. Not to mention that crafting them will occupy your time in the camp while trying to get exp for survival (crafting those gains you survival exp as well, win-win).

this may sound dumb but keep an Eye out for creatures fighting each other. examine them both and throw traps at the higher level creature. they usually won't stop fighting each other til one is dead. and by the time the winner gets to you his hams will be considerably lower. I did this a few times on Dantooine with savage voritors? got 900 xp for each hit (went pretty quick).

Exactly!!!
This is how you do it.
I went to dant and found voritors attacking pickets. (Fierce Picket Plains Walkers no less)... I don't recall what type of voritors, but I was getting over 1k trapping xp per shot using wire-mesh traps. I went through adv trapping 1-4 in about 90 minutes.
