Do we have any clue if this is a straight percentage: +25 mod = 25% (I.e. we get 25% more of a chance to hit a critter)? On top of that does this have any noticable effect (I know it doesn't but I would like the documentation ). I am a Master TKA so I hit everytime anyway....is there any reason to have this? This is just a thinking post;I am not sure where I am going with this yet .

No idea if it is a percentage or just an added bonus. But I almost never miss as a Master Rifleman anyway, NPC or Creature.

Hi Calc - I've read (on this forum) that the to-hit bonus only works for ranged professions and that it only applies to standard (that is, non-special attacks). My standard attacks do seem to hit a lot, but, then again,I am a master pistoleer. Of course, the exception is when I'm using a DX2, and then I miss, say, one of every 8 non-special attacks, but I think that is a weapon issue.

I think the things that kills the to-hit bonus is that it doesn't apply to special attacks - I suppose that the bonus helps me one-shot gnorts and rasps and such, but I pretty much rely on my specials for bigger creatures.

not sure how the percentage thing works....

My impression is that it acts like any other +accuracy modifier. If your total accuracy plus a random roll is higher than the target's defense and a base to-hit number, you hit.

(Then again, I might be totally incorrect because they did not implement it in a standard way.)

When I was a pistoleer and it actually applied to me, I never noticed a difference with or without it.
