so, i've found myself some really tastey fish meat, so i decided to hunker down and really try to get a sellable amount (doesnt matter too much, i got a BE who will buy as much as i get) anyway, i noticed i had some mind wounds (as usual, stoopid rifle) and i thought to myself "hey you! wouldnt it be cool if fishing healed mind wounds?"

well, if that wasnt the dang smartest thing i had heard in a while. Sooo, what about it? virtual fishing is an especially painful experience for the user (unless your volstead, or a handful of other oddballs [no offense intended]) but for those who have actually experienced fishing, its imensly relaxing and rewarding. It makes perfect sense that it would heal mind wounds. Relaxing in some nice cool water, the sound of the wind and the waves, crazed durni's spawning nearby. of course, it would never replace an entertainer, they can do buffs, fishing just gets you meat. entertainers are also a bit more...entertaining.

anyway, what do you think? on a side note, and possibly unrelated topic, your wounds heal themselves when your sitting in a camp gathering wilderness survival XP, and fishing gives you wilderness survival XP...

oh! and i wanna fish while sitting in a chair!

oh, that fish meat is

I'd agree with that even though I don't get the headaches like I used to. I wonder if it's because I dropped rifle for pistol. hmmm.

Sounds good. I'd like that.

Plus, increase the amount of fish we're capable of filleting at a time. It seems silly that a master ranger can only get the same small amounts of fish from filleting asa novice scout.

hmm couldn't care less about mind wounds. Sitting a camp is fine by me, but if it healed BF that would be cool.

I agree. I love it. I've found some good spots with ***** Fish and * Vegitation. I enjoy it and hope it'll eventually get expanded. UO fishing was great. I GM'd it pretty much in a week, but it was so fun. I'd get on and macro fish for 3-4 hours while chatting with buddies. I'd get Messages in a bottle and fishing nets.. then we'd get together and do them all. Tons of fun

Since it's been necroed anyway... it really does make sense that skill in Ranger would increase your fish fillet.

In the same respect .... I will endulge in the Necro antics and say..

Did anyone read my tale about pulling a force crystal out of the water when I snagged my line yet ?.. Because I really want some sleep tonight and find out if it's actually possible or I was drunk and someone put that thing on a table in my house just to annoy me.

Seriously though.. If I did, then I would say there is one major benefit offishing that everyone seems to have overlooked..

I wanna be able to take my X-34 out to the middle of the ocean and go fishin' off it.

Now THAT is a quality idea!. I was talking to a CSR when the fishing broke a few publishes back and he was asking me why I wanted to go fishing so badly.. He also said , 'I bet if we put boats into the game people would buy them' to which I replied 'Yeah , I would' to which he replied 'Yeah, so would I'..

We should have fishing boats, but an X-34 would do just as well. I can imagine it now..

ya, its a bummer you cant fish off of your x-34. but boats would be pretty useless. seeing as a speeder does just as well, and there's not enough water around to make boats usefull...

oh well, i just want to heal my bf/mind wounds.

i hate going into cities. its so booring, or its too laggy. give some friends and a tent, thats all i need.

I'd buy a boat and take it from the northern part of corellia the the southern-my cities in between anyway. (Sitting in the city and a boat comes floating by....)
